January 10th, 2018 – Columbia Cascade Housing Corporation (CCHC) hosted a community discussion for their Hood River Community Housing Development on Lot 700 last night.  The event held at Westside Elementary School had roughly 50 people in attendance.

After a presentation from Carleton Hart Architecture and Greenworks Landscape Architecture (members of CCHC’s development team) those in attendance didn’t hesitate to provide constructive feedback as to how the development concepts could be enhanced.  “It was refreshing to see so many community members positively engaging in this important community development with constructive criticism.  This is exactly what we are looking for as the development on Lot 700 winds its way forward.” said Joel Madsen, Executive Director of CCHC.
